Gorgeous! So beautiful and retro-looking. I’ve never been able to wear heels, though, as I don’t find them to be comfortable enough. These, while well-padded, were no exception. I hated sending them back. Great shoe, incredible service - I loved the look of the shoe, and it’s very comfortable. I might add inserts to the heel for an even better fit. I ordered these at 5:30 pm Pacific Time, and they delivered before 11:00 the next day. Very impressive.

Heels you can actually wear! Not only do they look fantastic, they feel great too. There’s enough of a heel that you look like you’re wearing heels, but they feel more comfortable than any other heels. I walk at least a mile each day, incl. up and down subway stairs, and these do the job admirably. I’m normally a 6.5 but got them in 7, which is just right with pantyhose or very thin trouser socks. I’ll definitely buy more of these but might go for wide next time, to go over my moderate bunions. More colors would be great! You can’t go wrong with these.

Sofft is a softy! Love, love,love these shoes! I fell in love with them the minute I slipped them on. They are so comfortable, and they’re like grown up Mary Janes. The flower on the side is and added bonus. Got so many compliments, and every one asked where I got them! Of course I raved about

Such a cute shoe, such odd sizing - I bought this shoe in my usual size - 10W. The arch is in the right place, it feels good on the heel and the strap is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the toe box is narrow and digs into my feet. It is such a pity, because these shoes are adorable!

Style sacrifices nothing to comfort - I have these in brown leather. The body of the shoe is a warm brown, the flower trim a cool brown, and the trim a black. They all work together and the range of colors in the shoe makes them easy to wear with a variety of outfits. I get compliments on these every time I wear them and people are shocked to hear that these are one of the most comfortable shoes that I own. I have been converted to the Sofft (R) brand and no longer balk at the price. I am phasing out all the uncomfortable shoes in my wardrobe! I ordered these in several sizes until I got it right. Free shipping and returns is a good thing! PS Love the vintage styling!

An excellent shoe - but runs a little large - This shoe runs a little large, but otherwise is a great and comfortable dress shoe with a lovely stylish retro look. I’d say that it runs almost a full size large… I normally wear a size 9 and ended up trading for an 8.5, but the shoe is still slightly loose on me. (An 8 might have been too tight, I don’t know). In any case, I’d go at least a half-size smaller than what you normally wear.

Buy it! Over the years, I have purchased hundreds of shoe pairs, for both work and play. A few have even been comfortable. Finally I found “my” brand: Sofft. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but well worth the money. The Calypso, as well as the four other comfortable-right-out-of-the-box Sofft pairs I recently purchased from Zappos, is well made of high (at least higher) quality leather and workmanship. Except for the “Beale,” which I also love, my 16-year-old daughter, who also appreciates shoes, applauded my Sofft purchases. My “Calypso” preference is the suede verses the leather version due to the texture and slight color contrast between the shoe body (in leather) and the “flower” (in suede). But the leather/suede combo is very desirable too. Mine are dark brown, a rich and delicious chocolate color. Who knew that a size 10 shoe could look delicate? As for Zappos and their service, I now feel pleasantly spoiled.
